I would agree with you that some rap is terrible, but I enjoy a lot of it as well!
A lot of rap music is very inspirational and tells the a story and isnt just rhyming random words. Rap stands for rhythm and poetry, so in essence, rap is poetry with a beat playing in the back groud. You can't tell me that eminem's raps are fake, and for some "minorities", rap is the only way out of the ghetto and the poor life they grew up in. They don't have the same opportunities that we do to get a good education,a place to sleep at, money to pay the bills and most of all, dedicated figures in their life. I'm sure if you asked the people who made it out of the ghetto by rapping they would feel a lot different about this subject than you, so before you start calling rap "crap" maybe you should take another look and be careful before you start throwing out ignorant stuff like this:evil:
