You can only really judge if you have had both for a substantial amount of time. I have had both for ages. I love my PS3. Xbox was better like 2 years ago. Now it's pretty crappy.

if your getting a ps3 get one with 3.55 fw are lower so you can jail break but i would buy a Xbox 360 i have both and Xbox 360 is well better

I personally play my Xbox more than my PS3. I am just not used to the controls on PS3. But I do like their thumb sticks. Depends, do you have a number of games for Xbox, do you Xbox LIVE for Xbox? And do you have a number of friends who have Xbox, instead of PS3? I think it's clear on what I said. If you say yes to all of those questions, then just get a damn Xbox.

NEVER get the new Xbox S. The wireless internet adapter sucks so much balls, and is like it has a mind of its own. It just disconnects me from LIVE and reconnects me whenever the hell it wants to. As for the sensitive buttons, they are so sensitive, that the wind blowing from my AC turns it on in the night. Sometimes, however not always, the system will completely shut down on me and give me a blue screen with no error code whatsoever. Just boom. So I sold it immidately and got the Xbox Arcade. Since the release date of the new Xbox S, this Xbox hasn't done anything, besides play how it should. Get the Arcade, they will never break. Sure, once they're old, then they will get RRoD'd once in a while, but still. Almost perfect. Just needs more USB ports, lol.
