Hey guys so yeah, i was just playing some search and destroy highrise and all of a sudden my mic messed up and i could still talk but i couldnt hear my friends.
I tried switching controllers, taking the mic out, turning the xbox off, everything. and still no sucess.
If anyone will help i will be more than happy to +REP

is it a special mic? turtle beaches, Astros ETC. or a regular xbox mic?

Try making sure that all of the wires are plugged in fully. If you have turtle beaches, make sure that the wires are pushed in fully on the volume toggle white thing That should fix it.

If you have a wireless controller keep pluging your mic in and taking out until your controller disconnects. Works for me

This always happened to me. I had to go and just buy a new mic
I would recommend getting a new mic, perhaps Turtle Beaches or something
