cant Find Update?

Hello,
I tryed to mod my nazi zombies but i think i deleted something i wasn't meant to. so i put my hard drive back in and when i click play game, it came up saying an update could not be found.
Does this mean i have to delete Cod WAW off of my xbox and start over. Or is there some sort of "update" i can download?
