Laptops tend to have bigger hardrive, better RAM and better processors

They are basically mini laptops made for better mobility .

A Netbook is alot smaller and only designed for web browsing.
So natuarally it won't have very high specs in terms of memory, processor etc.
A Laptop is designed to do web browsing, gaming, work uses etc.
So it will have specs alot higher than a Netbook depending on what sort of Laptop you get.

Laptops can be more powerful machines, where as netbooks are designed to be smaller but less powerful, and are also cheaper
