Whilst your in the elevator/lift at the start of the "No Russian" level and it's all dark, Makarov says to you "Remember, no Russian." He doesn't want any of the "team" to speak any Russian as they are supposed to be making it look like it was an American terrorist attack, which is why he left the body of Allen for the FSB to find. He could of easily killed him before the mission but he left him there so the FSB though it was an American terrorist attack. Also, I'm pretty sure all the weapons you use in the "No Russian" mission are American made with American ammunition. Makarov messed up though when he shot Allen because he used his own weapon and that's how they traced the bullet from the gun to the guy who supplied all the weapons, Rojas, I think. :-)

it was symbolizing the "start" of the war and also showed kinda like a beginning, its hard to explain but easy to understand.

they put it in to show what terrorist are accually doing in real life, ( there was no point just to show )

Thanks. :-) I got the game legit a day early and completed the campaign first, but when I had completed it I was really confused as it kinda seemed as if it was just a load of missions put together with no real storyline but researched into it a bit more and trawled through the web and worked out the whole storyline lol, I still think MW1 was a lot more streamlined though and easy to understand.

The point of the mission was for makarov to create a war between US and Russia. He says 'No Russian' so the civilians will think they are American. That and the fact that the body of Allen ( a CIA agent ) is found dead there.

yes it is a very bad level but what would it be like if we didnt have terminal ey!

Its really the turning point of the story, without it the russians would have never invaded america...
