So, I just ordered a JTAG console, and I'm not a complete noob with JTAGs, I know the general use of one and whatnot (I have a flashed xbox myself already), but what are some of the more important things I should know?
Also, what programs should I get? Do I get freeboot and freestyle dash and Xell, or what programs are absolutely necessary to be able to start playing games right away?
Also, with the new XDG3 (or whatever), I recently tried to play Bodycount on my flashed xbox and updated it, and now it wont let me complete the update. But, do I need to be worried about that at all? Because isnt that just the firmware?
Thought of one other thing, It also is coming with a 500 GB External drive, and I know that games and arcade games can run off of an external, but I can just FTP DLC then right? And for the FTP, I assume I can use the little xbox wireless thing that plugs into the USB on the back correct?
Any help for a noobie is much appreciated!

Yes you can use the wireless adapter to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
Programs:
Emulators (SNES, PSX, Genesis360)
Xexmenu/Freestyle Dash
XM360
All I can think of right now
But I dont need to worry about the XDG3 on a JTAG right?

The only thing you can upgrade is freestyle dash.
Xell and Freeboot are already flashed to the jtag.
Didn't you say you weren't a complete noob?
