Well after I accused Kaita of leeching this morning I apologised and bought her one from e-bay and she lives in the UK so the codes work everywhere only problem is it cost me 20 pounds but I was forgiven.

I can confirm this, the codes work out of the US.
So if you manage to get your hands on one (or a very kind person donates one, like I was luckily enough to get ), then don't worry about it not working in your country!
