Yes, It is illegal, you have illegally modified an Xbox 360 console or own an Illegally modified Xbox 360, And You Run Modified Code that is not meant to be edited, from an .iso that has been cracked, AND its a profitable organisation (i dont mean company, just like, Its something that is making money).

So you're safe, anyway, they'll just ban you, so your forced to spend your money on KV's they'll know what A JTAG is, hell i presume they'll have loads of them, trying to get how they work inside out and stuff. So..

TL;DR.
Your safe, they'll just keep making you pay for it via banning you constantly, E.G my Friend xTOOKTAx hosted 14 lobbies in a row (every day), now he turns on a JTAG with a new KV, signs in and gets banned. It'll just cost you for the KV's
