I really want to host Mw2 Lobbies but can not afford it at the moment...

i was thinking about working a way round this..

i know you can use external hard drives for ps3 that plug in through USB, you just have to have all the same folders and files that it would have...

if i put a Mw2 1.12 Patch on this hard drive would this be the same.

if not is there a way i can plug my HDD out my ps3 into my laptop to add a patch to the folder...
