On June 8th 2009, a paranormal pictures photoshop contest was launched on the Something Awful forums.[1] The idea was to create creepy images and use them to trick people on paranormal forums into thinking they were authentic. Users started editing images by adding fake ghosts and other strange figures, usually accompanied by a fake story to make it seem more realistic.
On June 10th, user Victor Surge posted in a thread containing the first known mention of the Slender Man as a creature who stalked children. Two photos of the creature were posted to the thread as well.

This scared the crap out of me especially the officer part.

Obviously its fake.
If it was real there would have been some kind of information given on "Thomas" But when you look him up..... Nothing! But i did see some named by that name "Thomas Nealy" writing Gay stories. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Oh yeah and when the guy running at the end, the guy talking, he wouldve died because if "slender man" Can get in a house he can deffinetely get into a car, oh yeah and he'd need to come out for gas and "slender man" can get him there.

When Thomas was talking it was sounding fake, until he started screaming it then started to become real for me.
But the *unidentified footsteps* are just classic horror film features.
The footage wasn't very clear, the screaming is the only part that got me thinking it's real.

Yeah you can, but why? When It basically says its fake and down the article they ask that victor guy and he said its all a hoax
