change the sata/power cables on your dvd drive. I have some if you need. Will send for free. You pay the shipping. I think its usually a bad sata cable but might as well change both. I've only seen this 1 time out of almost two years of repairs and the new cable solved it.

If that doesn't do it, its probably dvd related. Easy to diagnose. Just unplug the dvd drive and see if you get the e64.

Thanks dude. You too! I was wrong about a couple things before and tried to make sure I posted about it. I would've paid the shipping for those though lol. Not sure what I was thinking. Off topic a bit sorry...
