AMD Six-Core X6-1090T processor, 3.20GHz, 6MB L3 Cache: six core huh? You made a good choice, whats good about having six cores is that you will be able to run high end applications, a few of them, at once, but if you don't have a decent amount of RAM, you will be limited.

4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable up to 8GB): 4 GB's is a good start for the average home user since that most user don't run multiple RAM hogging applications at once, if you are planning on running games that require a lot more RAM or plan on multitasking and running any large program like Adobe Photoshop with anything else, then you might want to consider and upgrade.

1TB SATA hard drive: Decent amount, its overkill, but it will help you in the long run

24x DVD+/-RW drive: Standard CD drive, all i have to say

10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet: Good, if you plan on hosting any servers this will server you well, just be sure you PC can handle it

ATI Radeon HD 5670 graphics, With 1GB dedicated graphics memory: Whats good about the onboard graphics memory is that it won't put must stress on the actual RAM since it uses its own memory for it, good start, but like i said before, any high graphics games will require a bit more.

Overall, its a Good PC

Correct, if you plan on running Skyrim you would just need a RAM upgrade, graphics card should fine.
