How To Give Rep
To give Rep Click on the Scale/Balance in the Bottom Right of A Post!

How Much Rep Can I Give to Someone In a Day?
You can Send 25 Rep to 1 User in a day(24 Hrs)

How Many Times Can I Send Rep?
You can Send rep 10 Times in 24 Hrs.

Reputation Power
You Get 1 Reputation Power Either Every 25 Posts Or When you receive 100 rep from Other members.

Help My Rep Wont Go Up
If someone tells you "Oh i sent you X amount of rep" And your rep doesn't go up. THAT IS OK. For you to gain 1 rep power You need to receive 100 rep from members.

How Much Rep Can I Send?
You can send as Much as your Rep power is, However, you have to do it in quantities of 25

When I Send Rep It Says: I agree Or disagree with this post
If you click agree, the rep sent will be +
If you disagree, you -rep

How can i check how much more Rep i need For 1 rep Power?
Go to account and near the bottom you will see a bar with Friends/Users/Messages/Reputation. Click reputation and it will say somewhere "You have X rep and Need X more rep til 1 reputation power.

How do i figure out how many posts i need til 1 rep power?
IT Is located in the same place as above. It will say You need X amount of posts Until 1 Rep power

How can i check Rep Received/Given
Below the Section where you see how much rep and How many posts you need their will be a section Saying "Latest Reputation Given" This shows the last couple Of rep you have sent to Members.
Below that is a section Saying "Latest Reputation Received"
In it is The last Few Rep points you have been given With details such as: In which topic you were given the rep, How much rep it was, Time(Says Date after 24 Hrs.) And reason Rep was given [If provided]

When Giving Rep
When giving Rep, It no Longer takes away from your rep. So feel free to rep a member how much you truly think they deserve.



Amount Of Rep You Can Give
The maximum Amount Of rep You can give Is 25, IF You Have 25- Or more Rep power. But you can only Send how much you have if it's Below 25. Say you have 15- Then the max You can send is 15 Rep.

Don't post something Like "Thank You, I will Use This" On an Introduction. 1.That is COMPLETELY off topic and does NOT help the post at all.


Before Posting
Before Posting, Ask yourself These Question

1. Does My Post Help Anyone? If it Does it is More than likely NOT Spam and SHOULD be Posted, Helping members is a good way to Gain Post Count and be welcomed in the community

2. Does my Post Contribute To the Topic? If it Doesn't it Should NOT Be posted. Making off-topic and "Random" Posts Are usually Seen as spam

3. How is The Quality Of the Post? Take for Example If someone makes a tutorial and you like it, Right? And you Post Oh yeah, Great Tut dude. That COULD be Seen as Spam and should be rarely Posted. This is because the quality is NOT good. If you like a tutorial a better thing would be to say, "Great Topic And Tutorial I will be sure to try this if i have some spare time "

How To Be A Good Member [Tips From TTG User BoXMan]


1. Don't Spam, everyone hates spammers and u will get ur topic or post closed/deleted

2. Don't Scam, if u scam then u will be banned. If not banned then u will earn yourself a bad reputation and suspended.

3.Be a good active member here. Post daily and post a sentence or 2. Because if u put:
"Cool Banner." thats considered as spam.

4.Try to help the community out. Maybe start a avatar shop and do it for free. Maybe even make a infection thread where u do daily infection pub lobbies.

5. Don't sell if not verified by a admin or mod. I've seen a lot of people selling kvs,jtags, 10th lobby invites. That will just get your topic closed even if u are legit.

6. Don't post the same topic over and over again. If u got your topic closed once DO NOT make the same topic again.

7. If u do get scammed, talk to a mod or admin don't make a post about it. It's useless.

8. If u have seen a lot of topics made about the same subject do not make a topic about the same thing. For example, i have seen a whole lot of topics made about if COD7 will Have JTAGGED Lobbies. Nobody knows because it isn't released.

9. Just be nice. Dont go swearing at someone cause they didn't know something. Just tell them to read the rules or tell them something that they will know not to do in the future.

10. Don't flame topics. That will just make a huge argument. Take it to the pms. Thats why they are there.

11. Don't give Neg. rep just because you dislike the person. Ignore them and everything will be fine.

12. Do not advertise. That will also get your topic closed.

13. Don't mini-mod. Let the mods to there jobs. They do a great one.

Info On 7/23/2010 Ban Wave
On 7/23/2010 More 100+ Members Of TTG Were Either Console Banned On XBL Or Had their account Banned For Some time ( Most People Permanentaley Banned)

This Leads me To bellieve Multiple Options
1. Microsoft is On TTG (Patrolling For Members GT's)
2. Microsoft Is banning People With TTG and Thetechgame.com In their Profile (Gamertag,Motto,Bio,Location,name)

So For future Purposes. If you DO NOT want to Be banned. I reccomend Removing Your gamertag From the right of your post. This can be Done (ON TTG)
1. Go To account On the Header Bar
2. Click "Update Your Profile" (Located To the Right If your Avatar)
3. Under Extra Information, Change "Xbox Gamertag" It will be the 7th Option Down From "Extra Information"
4. I would Reccomend Leaving It blank Or Changing it to A Random GT

MW2 Modded Gametypes Info
Mw2 Zombies, Is a Modded Gametype [On a Patch] That allows Players a chance to experience the Fun on Call od Duty 5: World At War Nazi Zombies. On Modern Warfare 2.
Also: A KV Is Required To Host This Modded Gametype. and it IS NOT Infectable.

How To Play
Ok, Well it's Pretty Much Like Nazi Zombies in Cod: 5- Just withought Barriers

Rules
All 18 Players Spawn As Humans. Then A Random Zombie (Or Zombies) Are chosen
Humans Spawn With An Internvention and A .44 Magnum. And Zombies Have a USP .45. The Zombies try and KNIFE the Humans to Kill them (Humans Cannot Be Killed By Bullets)
Every Time A Human Kills a zombie They Get "Points" Or "Score" These Points can be Used To Buy Weapons/Perks From A Menu. Every Time you Buy A Object From the Menu "points" "Score" Are taken from your total. The Option, Much Like nazi Zombies is NOT TO DIE! After everyone has become a zombie The Host Will End the Game. Below Are some Fun edits I Have seen/Played

Fun Edits/Twists
1. At the Bottom Of the Screen It Has "Seconds Alive"
2. At the Bottom Of the Screen It says "How Many Humans Left"
3. At the Bottom It tells you "Round Number" And also Tells you In the Middle of the screen when A Round is over "Round 'X' Is Over, Good Luck On round 'X'. (I Don't Know if Rounds Go by Time, Or Humans Remaining)

How To Play
Everyone Starts Out with Throwing Knives. The more Kills you Get, The better guns You Get.

Rules
You Start Out with a Throwing Knife and every 2 Kills You Get your Gun Increases In Skill. It goes Up To Level 30 I Believe.

This Is your Login Info
This Is the info you use to Log into Thetechgame.com, Such as Username. The password fields are left blank for your safety and if you want to change your password you will need to type it in twice. One where it says "password" and once again where it says "retype password" Here you will also find the email associated with your TTG Account. It will be displayed but I Have erased mine. You can toggle your email to Be shown on your profile or hidden (to other TTG Members) this can be done in Prefernces, which I Will show later.

Ok, So below The "Login" Section, you Will se a Bold header that says "Extra Information" This is pretty Much extra Info to let Other TTG Members find out more about you. It looks like this.

1.The first 3 Options down are. 'Real Name' 'Gender' 'Birthday'

I Use only my First name (For safety) And my gender [Is real obiously] . When using age, Please use your real age. That way It makes is easier for TTG Admins to know if your eligable for the site. Birthday can be toggled to hidden in prefernces (shown later on)

2. The next Option in extra Information, is your favorite sports team. It looks like this

Teams can be Chosen from. NHL,NBA,MLS,PSL,MLB.

3. The next option displayed is 'Favorite Youtube Video' And it looks Like this.

To get this. Go to your favorite Video [Funny video You like,Song] And copy and Paste the URL. [This thing] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Your favorite Video will be displayed like this on your Profile: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4. The next Option displayed is Profile Banner, and it looks like this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It will be displayed on your profile like this.

5. The next option is your Gamercard. This Displays Recently Played games/Your gamer Rep/Gamer Picture/Gamerscore. To do this simply type in your gamertag, And it generates it. And also in your posts Here.

6. The next is your "Homepage" Or "Website" If you have a website, put it here. or Just put your favorite website.

There will be a link to this website in the bottom left of each of your posts.

7. The next 6 Features are Basic, AIM/MSN/Yahoo/Location/Occupation/Interests

Recent Visitors
If you Havent Noticed yet, A Recent visitors Add-on has been implemented into the Profiles of all users, To see it. Go to Account on the header Bar, then On your profile page scroll Down Almost to thee bottom will you will see another bar with Friend Requests,Friends,Messages,And Reputation/Bookmarks. Click on messages and now you will See 3 More. Recent activity/Forums/Recent Visitors. Then click on recent visitors and it will tell you all of your recent visitors (total people who viewed your profile) and shows the last 10 viewersa and when they viewed it.
