I have the 5.0.1 software for my iPod touch 4th generation and I downloaded the untethered version of Redsn0w for 5.0.1 software and when I go to search new packages it wont search new ones for me. It will only open my current ones. And on the home page when I go to themes it wont even let me download the themes. So my final question is should I downgrade, restore my iPod because downgrading is too hard and Cydia will be pointless, or just delete it then redownload it by restoring then redownloading. Help me please. I will rep a decent amount.

Do you have your SHSH Blobs still? For older firmwares of your devices.

I would just restor and rejailbreak, to make it easier, download the tethered jailbreak then search for corona untether on cydia for untehtered

If you can't fetch the Blobs then damn, not sure if you have much luck left. :S
Unless Apple is signing that firmware.

I know how to downgrade so I guess Ill restore my iPod then downgrade so that I can access anything I want and my with my iPod as much as I want. And what is the lowest I can downgrade to with the 4th gen?

Did you upgrade the essential things in Cydia when prompted because that usually solves the problem.

This is what is says at the top... SHSH: iOS 4.3.5, 5.0.1
