Would anyone happen to know why my Minecraft menu comes up for no apparent reason? It is seriously starting to irritate me

It looks like the client you downloaded - you may be pressing a key the brings you to the Game Menu

Well I doubt it is the client has I have had this client for a while now, and have never had any trouble with it like this. I also know others with this client that do not complain of the same problem I have. This just started happening today, not sure what it could be. I will try reinstalling the client or possibly taking it off and see if it fixes.
