To forewarn you it is nothing like COD!
There are no perks, killstreaks.
It is just you your weapon or vehicle and your squad.
In my option I love the game, so yes you should try it out and if you like it then keep it.

P.s If you are buying it per-owned you will have to get an online pass.

Yea if it pre-owned you need to buy a pass but it's only 20-30 new so better just get new also I only got this recently and is really good game =D

I have all of the Call of Duty games and Battlefield 3. I love BF3, it's just you and your squad vs the enemy team. My favorite part of the game is that there aren't any perks or kill streaks so it's a very balanced game although there's only CQ, Rush, and Deathmatch which kinda sucks cuz I would like to see new game modes added.

Bottom line, I'd atleast rent/borrow it to get the feel of the game. Don't stop after 45 min when you haven't ranked up yet, ranking takes a bit longer

Yes it's really the only game that can beat COD's multiplayer.
Seriously huge amounts of fun and variation,all you find in call of duty is the same,in battlefield there is conquest and rush and team death match an for each single mode the maps are a little different.
For example in metro rush you start in a park and advance through the metro.
Plus an awesome campaign and co-op mode.
Really worth it

I'm done with MW3 and went back to BF3, The game has so much more to offer. Game modes are much more team based and having the option to stay on land or be in the air is amazing.

yes its a very good game, although its tough at first when you dont have any good guns.
