this happened to me before. There are possible solutions to this.

-Turn on xbox with eject button and pull out disk then shut off, turn on by button and insert disk.(Worked for me)

-Turn xbox upside down and give some taps onto where the cd tray lays. (MAKE SURE ITS OFF)

-Maybe close the tray manally?

These are some solutions in mind, sorry if they dont work.

omg i have had this twice already either send it in or get a new xbox... i only got those solutions to work for so long sadly

oh also open your xbox if the warrenty is gone. And replace the SATA cable going to your drive. These can sometimes go bad. Happened to step bro before, after we replaced that it worked perfectly. The SATA cable is the Black cable going into your drive, not the white one. If that doesnt work then send there should be other tutorials. :/

I'm having problems with my disc tray too. But you problem may be different from mine, can you eject the disc tray when you push the eject button? If not, your having the same problem as me. I found a way to resolve my problem though. Taking the face plate off and the cover of the disc tray. Holding the side the disc tray while pushing the eject button.

If your having a different issue with your XBOX. You may need to contact Microsoft and explain your issue, 1-800-MY-XBOX.

I had this happen to my brand new slim and i didnt realise it didnt close all the way and i walked by and broke it and i was pissed and just left it there and used my old one

take xbox apart>take tray apart.move eye up
