I made this and figured that I would share it with you guys.

What's New: I added in some drop shadows, and a magnifying glass.

V4: NEW DESIGN

This is a totally new search bar, I don't know if it's any good but it was worth a try.

Please tell me what you think about both!

What's New: I lowered the opacity on the magnifying glass a bit, for a more professional look.

Don't mind the watermark under the search bar, I put that there so nobody could rip.

Tell me what you think, and which one is better.

:satisfied:

way too simple and you should add some drop shadows, inner shadows, gradients etc. to make it look more professional

Add a faint magnifing glass icon to the right.

It is in premade shapes on the shape tool

I will do this right now an post a V2.

I've never made one of these so it shouldn't be that great.

thanks.

Done, but I used a different magnifying glass.

Added some drop shadows but I'm not feeling the darker look.

I don't know, what do you think?

Exactly! This search bar is beautiful. TTG should really consider using it instead of the ugly one they have at the moment.

Too simplistic, in my honest opinion I don't think it would suit a website.

Try making it look a bit more realistic, resizing it and tweaking the colours.
