i droped my computer and now when i turn it on i get this back screen with these little lines going up and down on it. its not the screen because sometimes it works and i can use it. anyone have any idea on how i can fix it.

Chances are you have broken something. Open your computer and check for signs of damage. If you can see the problem you may have to replace the broken part. If its a pre-built machine you can phone the manufacturer and ask about a repair.

Most likely cause is the graphics card. If you have a external card, remove it and use the internal ones. If it works then it was the card. If not then its is most likely the mobo. If thats the case then you need a new mobo.
