I miss the good old care package speed glitch. Is there any way to bring it back? Does anyone know where I could find the code that handles care package run speed? It's either a DVAR, some scripting in one of the patch_mp.ff gsc's, or in the default_mp.xex.

I figure I'd ask if anyone knew where it was before I went looking for it. Thanks!

its perm patched server side sorry pal!

it was quite annoying tho kids sponge full clips running with marathon lightweight comando and a care package!

Well even if it's patched server-side bringing your JTAG online would in theory allow you to still do the glitch correct? It'd be just something else to add to our patches. Maybe it could be used in zombies or something too.

And yea I agree it was quite annoying. I didn't have a problem with the occasional use of the glitch, just the stupid kids that used it every single game. I used it in FFA every once in a while.

right but wrong its pretty much the same as the wallhack and aimbot infections the are patched server side pal

Well to my understanding this is how dvars work on a retail console:

dvars set client side >> dvars reset server side >> game begins

But on a JTAG:

dvars set client side >> dvars reset server side >> dvars in patch_mp.ff set again by JTAG host >> game begins

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure a JTAG can be used to reinstate the glitch. JTAG's bring back wallhack and aimbot for the host and clients when brought online.
