If you want to do games for the internet, i suggest flash. I prefer actionscript 2 (which id be able to help you in if you want) but it's up to you.

Even though going to university has never really helped any programmer? Most people I know of that have made something "big" never went to university or they dropped out.

ummmm bro first thing u should do is read the sticky topics and also try to find some people ho know how to code so when they are working u can watch them

ok, heres what I do, idk, and I am not saying I am an expert at ALL, I am not very advanced, but I can code a nice looking basic site, but anyways, First, watch YouTube tuts, and then use what you learn on that, and kind of twist whatever they are teaching you to make and make it better/ more advanced, then browse HF coding forums, and look at some problems people have and solutions they get, and then try to write your own code, like just some basic stuff, slowly getting better
