Start with learning java. It's pretty easy I think. I mean, I started with HTML and PHP, which was a big mistake. So start with java.. and look up ' thenewboston ' on youtube, amazing tutorials.

If you more interested in the graphical design of games then udk will be good for game development or if you are more Intrested in programing objective c is good and allows easy programing for anything you want to code (e.g screensavers quicklook plugins drivers open gl games ...)
With programing you have to break down what you want to do into simple instructions for the computer to understand using a wide range of data types
If you strugle with objective c try c sharp or vb

If you want to make apps, I would do C#, it's not that hard to learn and Microsoft's IDE (Microsoft Visual C#) is a great way to make apps for Windows computers.
