I'm actually building a PC for my friend with similar specifications. He chose the CPU and MOBO before I could suggest it so that sucks. The board is a really low end board and I hate working on it due to it having no features. He bought a CM 431 and as I'm putting it together I realize there is no USB3.0 onboard header. I'd just go the Intel i5-2500k / MSIZ77-G43 since you get a lot better performance for your money. The HAF 912 is the way to go. You didn't list a PSU there but I hope you get a good one from a company like Corsair / Seasonic / Antec to list a few.

Here's a pic BTW:

A GT 520 is not a strong card FYI.

Depends how much you're paying for.

If you're looking for an 8 core processor, I'd recommend an Intel chip.. Intel has a technology called "hyper threading" you can Google it. Any quad-core intel processor is equivalent to 8 cores with hyper threading.

Plus, I'd take an intel processor over an amd processor any day. Unless you want integrated graphics (garbage for rendering/video editing)

If you want FAST rendering, I suggest you spend a little bit more money on getting a Solid State Drive. Lower that 1 Tb HDD.. You can get more nonvolatile memory down the road.. probably for much cheaper in like, 6 months.
