I'm starting to learn C and was wondering if anyone has good graphic engine for it. I want to be able to create games like something of
stick man RPG. If you don't know what that is google it

You should learn a decent amount of the language before you try to make a game, otherwise you will end up like the tons of other people who post in this section saying they're "making a game", only to find out it's not as easy as they though.

Start with some basic applications and work your way up. Then, if you feel comfortable enough, start looking for engines.

Thanks man! The programming section I swear is the only place to get legitimate answers from mature people and not 12 year olds that are trying to get there post count up. +rep not that it makes a very big difference to that woping 1k of yours.

I have a bunch of C tutorials on my YouTube channel, you can find a playlist to them [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] None of the tutorials are on game development, but they'll introduce you to the language and the standard library.

There are tons more. It really depends on your programming level. Game programing is quite hard.

at school we used alice to create basic c games, it's fairly decent, its better than java for game creation.
