right this has happened to me only twice with my Xbox 360 slim 250GB i just turned it on as usual and i was on my laptop i was reading something then my Xbox pinged (the power button sound) and turned off so i turned it back on again and the display settings have change by their self because i usually play on 1080i resolution and then it changes its self on 480p has this ever happened to anyone else or is it just me

Never happended to me, but mine does freeze a lot because it over heats unless I keep a window open haha

Has it ever been opened? If so then maybe the RF board keeps getting hit and making it turn off. If not then I have no idea what could be the problem

Sometimes it turns itself off when you have been off it for a while, if your not playing a game and its just sitting there it will say "Xbox turning off soon" or something like that. lol
