GameDoctor360 wroteFlexxeH wroteSeanMc1ntosh wrote but can you not just open the hard drive itself and take out the memory unit and slot it into the new Xbox slot i have a friend that done it that way ?
yea but you could have a 3.5" desktop hard drive ( in my case ) which you cannot fit inside the console slot
I'm tired of seeing you say this FlexxeH!! You cant just use ANY hard drive as an internal unit. I asked you for proof before and your reply didn't work. So stop saying information you dont know about.

I'm talking about how you think you can just put any hard drive in the slim and format it using the xbox and it will magically work. You lead people to thinking the wrong thing.
Obviously you would want proof for this but I'm not talking about the original post im talking about the guy who said you can just take a hard drive out and put it in the xbox slot. and you agreed. YOU CANT you need an xbox 360 formatted hard drive or one you made yourself.
Why don't you learn to read what a post is actually talking about before replying. You will actually get somewhere in life if you pay attention.
