When i turn on my computer it will run good and smooth for about 5hrs or more then it will randomly shut off out of no wear then after it shuts off and you try to turn it back on it just stays at the compaq screen an doesnt even go to the windows boot. Please help if you have any ideas

Your laptop has probably run out of battery.
