Just keep trying. This glitch is a matter of luck in a way. You know how you hold down 'A' while you wait for the dispenser to break? The item you're duplicating has to be picked up at the time the dispenser breaks, so you have to get lucky and hope it gets timed correctly. I had to try this glitch 3-4 times before it finally worked, but it did work.

Yeah, this glitch is a lot about timing.. Remember to wait 3 seconds before opening the dispenser! ;)
