Thats a opinion. Just like some people like Windows and some people like Apple.

No it's not. It's a fact. AMD is worse than Intel.
Let me guess, Trojan suck and you only buy Magnum?

Sigh...

Their graphics cards are good, but their processors are no match for Intel's.
That doesnt mean that someone cant like AMD better then another company? In my opinion Apple sucks ****, BUT some people perfer Macs over anything.

No, it can't. If your competitor makes a better product than you, that means that your competitor is better. Also, Apple vs Windows (MS, HP, Dell, etc) is different. Apple has the best designed computers, and their laptops are sleek, portable, have good battery life, and some have decent components for the price.
I could get a PC with the exact same Specs as a Macbook pro for literally like half the cost.

Alright, link please! The laptop also has to have:
Battery life comparable to the MacBook
Decent design
Weighs around the same or less than a MacBook
Decent trackpad
Good screen (same or better than the MacBook)
Good keeyboard (same or better than the MacBook)

For half the price. When it comes to a laptop, it isn't all about specs. I'm not a huge supporter of Apple, but I don't blindly hate it like a lot of the people on this forum.
When you pay for Apple products you are paying for the logo. Same for Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

I'm still waiting on that laptop that is half the price of the Macbook Pro and has the exact same specs, including the ones I mentioned above.
Okay, But who cares about the design? If you have a ugly ass laptop, but runs like a beauty wouldn't you prefer it over a good looking bad laptop?

Jesus Christ these threads really go down the drain quickly don't they? One second he's talking about a laptop and now it's something about Macs? O U GUYS!

Anyways OP, for a laptop it doesn't seem to stand up very well. The RAM and hard drive are on point, but everything else is pooey! The battery life for one things seems extraordinarily low (5 hours??). The processor wouldn't hold up against any game made in the last... 10 years. LOL, but seriously it's pretty bad. I'm not too sure about laptop GPU, but i'm going to take a wild guess and say it's not good.

Laptops are meant for school, work, business type stuff. If you wanna game, get a desktop. Oh btw that laptop would actually make a decent school laptop, depending on the cost.

Good luck! Oh and try to ignore most people in this thread. Their Mac vs. PC has been shown to lower IQ. LOL!

The Macbook Pro's/Air's aren't bad laptops. Overall, they are good laptops. I don't think you can truthfully say that they are bad laptops. Overpriced to a degree, debatable, but bad, no. Again, like I said before, specs aren't that important when choosing a laptop. Any modern laptop, including a Macbook should run like a beauty. Also, if you are bringing a laptop around, you don't want it to look and feel like crap, would you?

However, it's a laptop we're talking about here, not a desktop. Laptops are designed to be portable. When it comes to a laptop, you have to choose either between performance or battery life/portability. To the majority of consumers, specs don't matter. It's all about getting something that's light, portable, and I hate to say this but, something that just works.
