Incorrect. People scam other people because they want to acquire items / content / cash illegitimately. This doesn't necessarily mean that the scammer is angry or jealous of someone else's possessions, it's just the fact that they don't have anything to lose, but they certainly have something to gain.

People scam to get stuff that they want. They usually think it's funny afterwards. I got scammed once and the kid got scared because I found him out and he lived in the town I live in xD

Usually they have no heart either...
