Counting sheep.
But on a serious note, when I can't sleep I'd play music in my earphones, but set them beside your pillow, obviously keeping the music quiet but just enough so that you can make it what its saying. Sorta sing along with it in your head.
Sounds weird, but it works for me? lol

I, sometimes feel it necessary to take nyquil sometimes, my sleeping schedule would be ruined if i didnt do that for like the first 3 days before school.

The thing that helps me most, is the sound of the laundry going.... I like it, not to loud not to quiet. Also, another thing is if yo have an animal like a cat or dog, you can cuddle with it helps me sleep at night!

Omg, same. Sometimes, when a pillow is hot, I flip it to the other side to make it cold. do you do the same?

Stay up a whole day and then sleep at a good time to get up early, or just sleep with the TV on

I have had a hard time sleeping too, and I figured out that Melatonin works the best for me. It is all natural and it works great. I take one whenever I can't fall asleep and it usually puts me out within a half hour or so...
