Quick question i hope somebody can answer.

SO i have an hdmi monitor right now that i play on.
But i also have tritton headsets that i have to use for audio. I have the component in the back of my xbox so i can plug my optical cable into the back of it for sound i also have the hdmi in the back and it's a tight fit but it works fine. If i get this pvr will i just have to plug the hdmi out to my monitor and be fine or will i have to scrap this whole set up.

Also if i were to get an xbox slim would i be able to have the component and hdmi in my xbox for sound and video?

you'd have to use HDMI All through. See if there is a audio out port. It is red and white.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be upgrading to this. I might if I come into some spare cash. It doesn't really seem worth it when you can make your videos look better then stock 1080p with Sony Vegas.
