Never let anybody use your beats lol way to overpriced to have them break.
Is it plugged in all the way? Just return it.

Are you sure it's not the port of whatever you're plugging the headset into that's broken? Try it with something else and see if it works.

I had the same problem with the same model of Beats. I would suggest checking if it is your cord or not. I unplugged the red auxiliary cord that mine came with, and used a cord on my friends, and they worked. After that, a couple weeks later, they started doing the same thing. I tried the cord thing, and it didn't work. So, I hibernated them (didn't use them) for about 2 weeks. They still had a sound deficiency. So, I used my 1 year warranty for a new pair.
MY SUGGESTIONS:
If you know anyone else with a pair of Beats, exchange auxiliary cords with them and see if they work.
Replace the batteries.
Hibernate them.
Use a different music playing device.
Use your warranty, if you have one.
IF ALL ELSE FAILS:
You're just gonna have to sell them for parts or get them repaired. My friend had to do that, and he got $200 back, even though one ear didn't play sound. The rest you could just save up for. Sorry, man. Beats aren't very durable.
Hope this helped!
