I'm trying to change the account name from "user" to "Nick", I tried the usual way through Control Panel and it let me, but in Command Prompt it still says C:\Users\user>

Anybody know how to? It's not a huge deal I guess it just annoys me.

just add a new user and name it "Nick"

I want my current user named that, I need to be able to use this users files.

Mine does exactly the same, have you tried restarting your computer? maybe that may help?

Yeah i've tried it all. I could restore I guess but it is not that serious.

Press the windows thing or whatever on the bottom left corner, Click on you're icon above you're accounts name
Then click account name
