The words gaming and laptop only fit in one sentence- "Laptops are useless for gaming"
Also, the i7 has nothing better than the i5 except hyperthreading, witch you won't be using. Go to r00t's topic and get a desktop recommended. If you are dead-set on getting a laptop, go for an ultrabook with at least 6 Gb RAM, and stay away from any AMD processors.

OP, don't bother wasting $1000 on a crap laptop that claims to be a gaming beast, when in fact it isn't. A $1000 desktop will destroy a laptop in every aspect and will provide a very good gaming experience.

the guy wants a laptop ok damn he asked for a laptop not a damn desktop if your gunna reply saying get a desktop just dont click the post he wants a laptop so that he can take on the go and maybe he doesnt have space for the desktop and ive seen $1000 laptops with 70fps or more
