I'm sure that everyone knows how the zombie rank works by now but awhile back we didn't and I sent treyarch a message asking how it does and I just now remembered I asked them and I did get a response back. Here ya go

My Message: Call of Duty: Black Ops II (Xbox 360) : Im having a problem with my Stats/Rank (I'm having a problem that is not listed)

Since Treyarch has not explained how the zombies rank works...I would like to know how it does because If I don't play it goes down and sometimes wont even go up after playing games. Will you please tell me how the ranking system works I would very much appreciate it. Thanks

Thank you for contacting Activision Customer Support.

Yes, If you don't play for a while your rank will go down. The ranking system kinda works like k/d, you will need to play a lot of games and make sure you play better every time to make your rank go up. Everything counts towards ranking up: kills, revives, perks, doors, spending points, zombie pick ups, etc.
