If you didn't go to school it would be harder to make friends.

The title of the post is just a complete fail by itself im not even going to bother to read what some kid has to say about school not being important because he doesnt like just a complete failure of a post i mean seriously just think about the title BESIDES YOUR FUTURE WHATS THE POINT OF SCHOOL........... hmmmm maybe your FUTURE i think you have just completely overlooked exactly what your future means you should think about that because if you keep thinking this way and making stupid posts your future is not looking very good.

School builds upon itself:
1.) Elementry school prepares you for middle school.
2.) Middle school prepares you for high school.
3.) High school prepares you for college.
4.) College prepares you for life and job environments.

School is the exact opposite of pointless, and no one needs to give up or quit trying in school.

Also, don't care about being popular or anything over grades because popularity doesn't help you later in life like good grades do, tryhard in school.

There are some subjects that shouldn't be mandatory,

: Algebra (Topic not subject) there is no need for it 1. Because half the population don't have a bloody clue what it is, Most jobs don't require you to use it

History, Completely pointless How many times in a day do you get asked when was Charlie Chaplin born?

Different Languages: Nice to have not needed, If you had the Dying desire to speak french you would am i right?

Religion: I can't say that word with a straight face, If you believe in it all good for you, By why is it a forced subject

English: People are going to get mad because i mentioned this subject, What im not saying "Herp derp why do we need to do something we already know" What i am saying: Why do you need to learn Creative writing & Poetry? Completely useless

Music: If you want to Pursue a career in music go ahead, But why should the people who wan't to be a build for example why should they have to attend the class?

Science: I really don't need to know how many bones a frog has

PE (Physical education): If you wan't to be a fit person Energetic all that jazz go ahead run around a field in shorts like a spanner be my guest, But the people who want to sit in the warm with a burger they should have to be forced to do it

I run out of subjects D:My point is there shouldn't be so many lessons forced on people,

Ignore the bad grammar, Two days no sleep & had a hangover the complete time

You can't be serious? How can you just think science is about frogs without science you would be dying at a much younger age and it can help with a lot of things which I'm not gonna rant on about.

And you need P.E so you don't just sit there being a useless lazy slob.

The one that did annoy me the most though is how can you think that science is pointless? Just ignore that it's also about how the world works and the constant changes and focus on frogs and they're not going to teach you university level science as you're simply not prepared for it and that's what school does.

without school in this world you would probably not know how to type or even talk.. or know what 5x5 is and be a dumass for the rest of your life.. yah your probably some 13 year old hating on school because its everyday yah boo hoo but school pretty much makes you.. if you think about it they teach you how to respect respect others you learn. you find a JOB because of SCHOOL.

 We learn how to do all of that stuff in elementary school. I do think elementary school should be mandatory, and maybe some mental check-ups. But highschool? HELLS TO THE NALL. I carry a 3.7 GPA at my private highscool, and most of the stuff I'm learning is bogus. When will I need to point out the predicate nominative in a sentence? WHEN?

I agree, but can we please not make this post hating on others with different ideas? Jeez. I think I know what the first guy is talking about, you don't need to do certain things that you won't use in the future. Not everyone is going to become a scientist. I do think that high school should be like college though. You should be able to choose your own classes, and not sit through the ones you will definitely never use again. But you never know, you may change professions/careers when older and might find that the class you took in high school was useful. There are many variations and paths that you can take the idea of high school to, but I'm not willing to go over every one. The point is, many subjects aren't needed. BUT, the class you take isn't just about the subject. The 10 page essay you do on Einstein is a useful preparation tool for college. Sometimes it's not about the subject, but sometimes about the routine of doing things like papers, and homework, to prepare you for college, and maybe a future office job which every high school expects you to work at.

School decides your future... You are right on that. You may not need to know when Albert was born, or how many miles to the sun, but you just might. Noone wants to become a waiter when they get older, but thinking school is no big deal is what gets people there. Some people take more pride in school work, and less pride in let's say video games, and yes those people will be more successful. Studying hard will pay off in the long run. When you are 32 and stuck in a dead end job because you didn't go to college and your making minimum wage, you will wish you could go back and redo it all. Set your goals high, and if you work hard you could achieve them, if you work kinda hard but not putting it all out there you can make it half way to your goal. If you sit around playing video games when you have a huge exam the following day... You will come nowhere close to that goal. Try to take school serious, or at least semi serious, or you can end up like that 50 yr old still working at McDonald's. money comes at a cost, and that cost is effort, nothing more.

Because knowledge is power my friend, if you're achieving this in school why not push yourself to be better than 'average.' With school you can find out how to adapt skills to actual life. Without English you would have a basic vocabulary, without maths you would have very poorly made structures and without history you wouldn't know about important things that happened like the Slave Trade ect. Without Science you would believe the Earth is a thousand years old. I could go on but i'm sure you understand my point.
