It would be the same. Nas, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Jay-Z are all still alive and making music and they are considered some of the best. I hate when people say "If Tupac was still alive all these rappers would be working at Mcdonalds" They're idiots. The only reason people say he was the best is because he died. If Nas died in the 90's he would be as popular as Tupac.

If he was alive, rap would be alot different, I think. More people could be like him. Nowadays, if you don't talk about sex, swag, yolo, cars, money and other things like that, you're done. The realest rapper we have is Eminem. And even then his rap is becoming worse. So with Tupac we can go into the more poetic and meaningful and real lyrics that he used before his death.

Actually I do. His lyrics have a poetic vibe about them. Listen to some of his other songs. I'm not denying that he rapped about those things. But that wasn't what he limited himself to. He has personal songs and meaningful songs. For example the song Changes is alot about poverty. He raps about racism and life in the ghetto. Fun fact: Tupac actually wanted to stop being a gangster. Look it up.
And finally, if anyone doesn't know what they're talking about, it's you.

If Tupac was alive he'd probably the same stuff as current rappers. He was extremely talented and was good at rapping but he is very overrated. This is just ifs and buts though nobody knows what rap would be like if he lived till now.
