Hey,
I was wondering if it would be possible to combine two computer monitors into one to play Xbox on, so it would make it one big monitor. Please let me know if I can even do it, and what I will need. Thank you.
I hope I posted this in the right section.

Original Xboxes could output to two TVs by using the component cables for one and the composite for another, but it would just display the same image and not in high-definition. So no, what you're talking about is not possible on an Xbox. You would also need three monitors if you wanted to have something you could actually play on without two big bezels in the center if the image.

Only way you could do it and still have hd quality would be to buy an hdmi splitter which is not very cheap and they are hard to find. You can split the signal from there to run to two monitors.

r00t wrotei forgot the xbox1 did that, my old room mate had his setup for halo 2 so that monitor 1 was the normal front view and monitor 2 was a view from the back, this was on a modded console obviously but it does make me want to pull my old xbox out of the closet and mess about on it againSabreT00thPanda wrote Hey,

EDIT: Sorry diddent read the OP, thought you wanted 2 PC monitors and one for xbox.
I do do this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Monitor on the left has a VGA and DVI inputs and the right one has just VGA. My computer outputs VGA and DVI and I bought a HD VGA cable for the xbox for about 10 Pounds. I just switch between extend display or just the one when I want to play on the xbox.

That's not what OP's talking about, though, he wants the Xbox to output to two displays for an extended image, which is not supported. I did the same thing as you when I played PS3 using a monitor and my laptop, though.
