you have just said no one knows anything for sure so how could you know if there going to stop bring major games out on the 360? xbox dosent makes the games people like EA and activision do and they will not stop bringing out games for the 360 i guarantee you that!

So you're telling me they still make all the new games for PS2? Okay then...

They might carry on making them for a year, but no longer.

Yes but did everyone play live on and old playstation 2? live on xbox is making them a fortune and so is microsoft points so i really doubt they will keep live ongoing but not bring out any new games for it...

I'm going to wait awhile and see if the 360 falls. If it does I'll get a 720. If it doesn't, I don't see any point in getting one.. Valve, Activision, Ea, Bungie, Ubisoft, etc aren't going to stop making major games for the 360 because they make way to much money off them. When they release new games, I'd say they're going to release it for both platforms because I'd say a bunch of people won't get the 720. If Xbox live is ongoing on the 360, major game companies will release games for it and therefore there's no point in paying like $300-400 for something that probably won't be much better than the 360. I may change my mind...

You're kidding right? Playstation network was on the PS2 and people lived it, PS2 was a legendary console, almost EVERYONE had one. The PS2 has sold over twice as many units as the Xbox 360 and is still going strong although they are discontinued. Sales declined for the PS2 in around 2006/2007 and the PS2 has still sold well over twice as many units as the Xbox 360, as I said. Companies stopped developing and producing games for the PS3 when the PS3 was announced for release, even before it was actually released so it would NOT be a surprise if Xbox 360 games stopped being produced after Summer this year. I can tell you for sure that Xbox 360 games will not be still being made Summer of next year, for sure.

I would wait about a month later after the release to even purchase it, but for now I'll be on my 360.

Eventually, Everyone is going to move to the 720. How many people do you see play the regular Xbox now?
