It's not a dumb post, it just goes against what most people want to hear.

Hence... you.

I admit I have thought about this also, but we still have 5.5 billion years to
evolve our technology I think we will be able to do unimaginable things.
We have already made it threw an ice-age with no resources our star turning on us with
the technology we'll have will be nothing to worry about.

That's if money and greed will be done away with and little differences like race and sexuallity, etc.
is nothing to disturb the peace about and as a human race recognise people are different.
We are all the same, all we need is for a fallout over resources ending in nuclear warfare.

I agree, although I doubt we will last that long.
I understand that we have superior technology and are the most advanced species, but we are still a type 0 civilization.
We still rely on fossil fuels, without an alternative I don't think we will ever be able to get past Pluto.

Also, 99.9% of all life on Earth has gone extinct.
We are incredibly lucky to have made it this far in the first place.

I think we will migrate long before 5.5billion to another planet.
We will be soon in a crisis over resources that's when we have to be worried
that will be the question on wether we'll live threw the second millenium.
The government needs to be realistic and realise they need to make it a law on the amount
of children you can have.

If we make it out of that and stop being such a dumb race and get over the little differences we'll make big steps.
We are a type 0 civilisation with type 1 technology already.
Our telecommunications like the internet. We are not far threw modern human history and
we ready have type 1 technology!

I would'nt use the word luck, luck didn't help us get threw it.
Our instinct and strive to survive helped us get threw, we were superior back then.
We can do superior things that the non-intelligent species couldn't do.
You couldn't compare us with any other species from back then.

Thanks for noticing my posts

I agree, except your last point.

I think we are incredibly lucky to be here.
Homo-Erectus were very humanlike in their instincts and intelligence but the species still ended up succumbing to extinction.
Just like:

- Homo Habilis
- Homo Gautengensis
- Homo Rudolfensis
- Homo Georgicus
- Homo Ergaster
- Homo Cepranensis
- Homo Antecessor
- Homo Heidelbergensis
- Homo Rhodesiensis
- Neanderthal's
- Denisova's

Any of these species could have gotten to where we are now, most were wiped out due to climactic events.
Also, when you take into account that Homo Sapiens were forced to dwindle in population to around 40,000 in Africa due to severe climate change I don't see how anyone can say we didn't get lucky without invoking a miracle.

I still put alot of my faith in what we can do.
This is going into unfamiliar territory, I'm not going to spend my time researching that just yet.
Anyway I feel we are now way of topic, so lets just leave it at that.

We're always evolving.

Take your thumbs for example; they've grown exponentially over generations and continue to grow now.
In 1000 years they will be as long as your middle finger.

This is kind of true. Maybe not so meaningless but yes, after we die, there's nothing. We won't know anything, we won't be here. Kind of deep but it's true.
