And @Disorts, no God is not 100% real, no more than he is 100% fake.

'God' and the concept of a God is an unfalsifiable hypothesis, you simply cannot prove or disprove the existence of a God because God doesn't want you to know that he exists for certain.
Not knowing is the whole reason for faith, belief and therefore free will and the choice of whether you go to Heaven or Hell in his mind.
If God was proven to exist, everything that God has ever done to do with humanity in the past would be absolutely pointless.

You can look at the Bible for instance, and argue that he can't be real because of the flaws in it, because of the contradiction, the only way anyone can have a logical debate about Gods existence is through Biblical and philosophical discussion.
We simply do not know enough about nature and the nature of existence to argue from that perspective, anyone who does is, in my mind, a fool.

I understand where you are coming from with this, I personally don't agree with what Anselm said, it has too many flaws and that a significant amount of evidence would be needed to prove the existence of God. I posted it to see others opinions on it.

I think you need to define what god is. Really there is not much to go on besides the fact that this is reality and that we exist... and for that to have happened something far more than anything and everything is what controls matter itself.

I have my own personal experiences that prove me he is real. People won't truly believe until they have their own experiences. Also you have to have faith and believe in something happy. I don't want to just stair at dirt when i die and I dont believe it will be that simple.

Why must one have faith? I do not have faith in a God. I do not need faith in a God. I think cowardliness and fear of afterlife is what keeps people believing in God(s).

Any sensible human being would have to know somewhere deep down, they do not believe. But maybe to keep up the impression of how great of a family they are. Or that they WANT to feel content with dying, which they really do not. I think it's just for show. I always questioned God my entire life in my Christian family, I just liked going to Church for show. I wanted to fit in with other families.

Religion is nothing but ignorance in my honest opinion. It's harsh, but it's the truth. The majority of atheists can actually have a debate on religion, whereas the majority of Christians will try to prove their God is real by quotes from the Bible. Which I laugh at,
