I am retarded? There should be licensing fee's. Why the hell should the developers lose money when people only buy second hand games? Look into that a bit before you say I am retarded. i am sorry that 20% of Americans don't have internet, but realistically, it's 2013, and if they are buying the Xbox One launch day, they should have internet. If they are waiting a bit, then that is fine. Within the next couple years (when they will probably get the console) to not have internet will be the most prehistoric **** ever. I just bought my mother a blu-ray player for Mothers Day, and it doesn't require internet, but without it set up to the wifi it is just a 5lb brick.

No **** it's an entertainment center now. It has to be. Have you picked up a smart phone within the past 5 years? That is a computer. You could render on them, upload, capture, text, phone, apps, games, ANYTHING. Why should this device be held back when it is going to be around for 10-12 years. 1st- the xbox put in the code when u put the game in not u they stated that already.

People want a console that plays games without problems. That is the whole point of a console. Pop in a disc and start playing, no problems. Nobody wants to run into DRM hassles, and what M$ wants and that. M$ is not loyal to gamers this gen but instead more loyal to the living room.

Yeah you can turn it off but it will most likely be a hassle and most likely restrict some features with it off.
