Here it is straight from IGN's Playstation Press Conference recap: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Looks like Sony needs to make tough decision's in order to keep that $399 price tag.

When you buy Xbox Live Gold, you are not just purchasing a membership you are purchasing an all access pass to every available feature on Xbox Live. You gain access to Gold member content, free games, themes, gamer pics, and more. A Gold membership grants you access to 24/7 non latency dedicated protected servers. When Microsoft updates there Xbox Live servers, they will be able to support another 100 million members of Xbox Live. Gold Membership or Silver Membership guarantees you 24/7 account security for you account and personal information.

This is called "PlayStation 4 general discussion" not "Xbox one general discussion". Also was there any need to post this ?

I think what his point was that while we do have to pay for an Xbox live membership, that money grants us everything he already said and more. So hopefully that is what Sony is planning on doing with the membership money. They'll be able to have dedicated servers for games, better and more consistent updates, and maybe even access to early dlc content, who knows.
All I know is I only switched from Sony to get the 360 and yes it was good, but times have changed and so have my interests, I will be happily purchasing the ps4 as my next gen console.

Sony fanboys before PS4: "I'll never buy a console that forces me to pay $50 a year... Have fun with your GayBox 360 lololololol"

Sony fanboys now: Look at all the cool features you get, that have always been there.

Thanks for making a topic that is already a news topic, deal with it. It's only $50 a year, if you can't afford an extra $50 a year then you probably shouldn't be buying any next-gen system. Idiots these days.
