Its obviously just nerds who sit all day on xbox. If they have got a better KD than you, your are awful and if you have a better KD than them, You are a nerd.

One of the worst decisions I made was probably caring about my stats on CoD. Admittedly I don't judge others, but I try to keep mine in shape.

I dont care what my KD is as long as its over 1. I dont care if its 1.01 as long as its positive.

After that KD means nothing.

K/D does not matter, and I hate it when I get judged on a K/D in a game. Example. I go 1-17 in a game of MW2 and someone will send a message saying that you're bad, you retaliate, like human instinct then they get K/D involved. No need people. No need.

This is getting more and more common, and as soon as I tell them K/D doesn't matter, they get sexist. It proves that they're immature boys who sit on Call of Duty all day doesn't it?

Actually Mr/Mrs JFK- a good K/D does matter. It shows how good you are at the game.

I must disagree with that statement sir. Having a good K/D does not mean you are any better or worse at the game. If you look at professional players across CoD, Halo, and Gears, their K/Ds really are nothing special. When it comes to actual team based levels, the individual's ability to pull a fake trigger faster means absolutely nothing. Also don't forget that a lot of people that are insane at the game like messing around, especially in Call of Duty games. Do you think the guys laughing their asses off in game chat while running around with Riot Shields are horrible at the game? Not necessarily, they paid their 60 dollars and will play their way. Not everybody has to treat the game so seriously.

K/D doesn't make a good player. For all we know their K/D could boosted, modded, or they could be stealing downs/kills. In my experience, players with really high K/Ds don't usually have a very big W/L, because they only care about kills to show off to their 10 year old friends.

Who else remembers when games didn't really keep track of that? It was a more peaceful time...

I wish I couldn't care about my K/D.

When it comes to something like that I have like minor OCD that kicks in and I need to keep it leveled or I can't function haha.

Exactly How I Feel all the time

I cared about K/D at one point, but then I took a look at top players' KDs like guys from FaZe and OpTic and noticed how little they cared about KDs. I just started to recklessly snipe and can still maintain a 1.5 when I'm sniping so it's not bad or anything. If anyone calls me a BK I just 1v1 them or I don't respond because Call of Duty is a game anyways and it doesn't matter.
