The title says it all. I want to buy a new card but don't know which one is better.

In my own opinion they're about the same thing, I don't trust nvidia though, I've bought to many items from the brand that didn't work or were faulty.

At stock the 770 pulls a head a bit, but once both are overclocked they should be neck and neck. Go with which ever one is cheaper or you think looks better.

Go with the GTX 770 in my opinion from stock its a lot better and without overclocking should perform slightly better.

Hope this helped.

The 770 and 7970 GE are about equal performers depending on the game. The 770 should consume less power and it's a newer card so it has my recommendation. You can't go wrong with either.

i'd go with the 7970, well, that is if it still comes with all those games.

I think that promotion is over now. I don't see it on any current 7970s in the US.
