Well hello , I'm playing video games on this computer since 2 years already , part inside it are overclocked so I know they won't last too long but recently (3 days ago) I've been suffering from fps drop like 60 to 20 every 2-3 minutes (Via fraps software). I've also been using speedfan to know if my temperature or usage of my cpu was high and it's seem normal ( Well I hope so ). I've been disable lots of stuff on run , tried without antivirus , cleaning and upgrading my graphics card. Nothing changed and I'm out of idea. So if anybody can give me some quick tips to check out , thanks in advance!

Do you have split file every 4 gigabytes checked on fraps?

The fire symbol next to the GPU temperature means that it is too hot. If you overclocked it, I recommend taking it off. Also, you can run some fan control programs that let you boost the fan speed and lower temp. you might think about investing in a water cooler.

I bought it overclocked from someone and I need this boost for most games so anything to cool it down ?

What are you talking about 53c is a very good temp for a GPU most run 70c+ and that is still ok.

Thats 127 Degrees Fahrenheit. That's not good for a GPU.

Thats 127 Degrees Fahrenheit. That's not good for a GPU.


Clearly someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. 53C/127F Is actually low for a GPU and even a CPU under load. 90C+ is where the temps should be a concern not the low 50's
