Synopsis
Many users have been asking to bring back the old Runescape. Well now you can relive it. This old version can bring back memories and can make you happy.

Gameplay
During the campaign you play as a US Marine who has been detained by the CIA for shooting your commanding officer. Your character claims that there will be a nuclear attack on New York City and that his actions were a direct effort to stop it. The cutscenes of your interrogation prompt memories that lead back to your missions. The missions themselves aren't terribly interesting. The characters are dull, the objectives bland, the level designs linear, and the events that tie into the story seem randomized and not directly linked together. In addition, some of the levels can be increasingly frustrating for players who want to try their hand at the hardest difficulty, while others are a breeze. Unlike most shooters, the campaign doesn't get more difficult as it goes on, but rather is more like randomized hills of controller-smashing frustration.

Graphics
The amount of customization in the game is incredible. From the wide array of camos to the vast amount of weapons, Battlefield 3 provides you with a number of ways to shoot your enemy, and look good while doing it. The technical aspects of the game set it apart. The graphics are beautiful, especially for maps as big as those in the game. The Frostbite 2 engine allows for visually stunning destructibility while keeping the frame rate going strong. There are almost no bugs in multiplayer, and the action runs along smoothly. The sound effects are some of the best you'll find in any game on the market, making the battlefield even more intense.

Controls and Multiplayer
The controls feel fluid. Everything blends well together as far as players movements and actions. Shooting has accurate recoil and clip sizes. The only problem players frequently run into is not being able to get over small objects. This can make the game feel glitchy, but keep in mind it does not happen often. The sound of Battlefield 3 is amazing. If you're using a full headset or surround sound speakers you're sure to feel like you're right in the middle of the action. It's truly an amazing experience. The multiplayer experience is designed to last. Leveling will take you quite some time. Unlocking new equipment for your solider and for vehicles definitely takes some time which makes the value of this game quite good. Graphics on Battlefield 3 are what you'd expect from a console game with huge maps and amazing detail. EA definitely did their best making the game look great, but the consoles don't have the power behind them to make the game flawless, but it's still quite good.

Call of duty MW2:

MW2

A game that has been played with since 2009, a game that provides a lot of fun for everyone and provides massive entertainment. Single player, Spec Ops and of course the part that makes every COD game very popular the amazing Multiplayer. MW2 may be the best COD (Call Of Duty) Game out there and might actually be the best game out there but other people may disagree with that. But to me MW2 is defenitly the best game that i have ever played and never fails to impress me everytime i go on it. There may be people that use a gun attachment that other people dont agree with for example the UMP45 or the Grenede launcher that some people use a lot in a game with One Man Army that gives them unlimited ammo when ever they use it but that is how some people like to enjoy there experience on MW2 and they did pay just as much money as you and deserve to play the game how they want to as is is that players game not your game and that is what you have to know when you do play with a player that likes to use a different gun or attachment than you to not shout at them and if it annoys you so much then leave the game and go into a different one you dont need to start a fight with them. What i am trying to say is that MW2 is an amazing game if you dont start a fight and not get angry and start to play it a bit more and give it a chance also use different guns and see if that makes it more fun

WWE 12

The SmackDown series remained the dominant force in pro wrestling gaming for over a decade. While challengers like TNA and Lucha Libre tried, only one thing could dethrone SD: the game makers themselves. This year publisher THQ dumped the brand to replace it with WWE 12. However, even with the new name and image, things aren't quite as different as some might hope, but we aren't that bothered by it.

he most welcome and obvious update was to the in-ring action, which is where SmackDown had gotten the most stale. The new game gave the devs a chance to alter things, though the control scheme is more like a positive regression. The grapple stick is gone, replaced by a single face button command just like striking. It's something many WWE diehards had been missing and it works so much better.

The core combat is on the upswing overall, as a new physics and graphics engine are noticeably better than last year. The general speed of the game and pace of the matches have been improved too, as the recovery time from damage has been greatly decreased. SD's pacing feels pretty slow by comparison, with WWE 12 matches feeling more competitive than ever.

The wrestling has subtler improvements too. The momentum meter only increases now, no more frustratingly losing your progress to a Signature or getting so low in a momentum hole there's no coming back. The contact between the wrestlers is realer too, with the new physics engine getting rid of many of the more robotic transitions. As far as the core combat goes, it's some of the best in series history, though if you liked the arcadiness of WWE All-Stars, the extra dose of reality might not be as welcoming.

For wrestling traditionalists, the idea of leaving it all in the ring is important, but WWE fans and former SmackDown devotees know sports entertainment is much more than that. What's outside it matters just as much, and WWE 12's feature set can't be beat (it just isn't very new).

Over many years SmackDown built up a huge amount of features. One of our favorites was the single player campaign Road to WrestleMania. It's back and this year's is the best yet with a cohesive story that spans three separate superstars, Sheamus, Triple H and for the first time ever a created superstar. Each story flows into the next and covers a much bigger timeframe than Royal Rumble to Mania. Road is a better than ever, as is the standard season mode WWE Universe, which is more cohesive and customizable than before.

The improvement in solo play extends to the very personal experience of content creation, as all the creator modes from SD are back too. Create-a-Superstar, Create-a-Finisher and Create-a-Story return and are incrementally improved from last year. There's also the long-awaited Create-an-Arena which allows you to customize where you perform about as much as you can change things in the other modes. And the online contact community where you can share it all is still there too.

However, while we appreciate the return and refinement of all these previous features, they do make WWE 12 feel less fresh and more like a slight upgrade. It would have been foolish to throw out all the great tools built over the years for SmackDown, but THQ had a real chance to change things up in WWE 12, and the alterations to the actual wrestling isn't enough to earn its new name.

Even if it doesn't revolutionize wrestling games, WWE 12 is the best wrassler around and mixes things up enough to not feel stale. It owes much to SmackDown, but everything it borrows is still great, just slightly used. If you wanted a completely new wrestling experience, wait for the next challenger to WWE to give it a shot (and probably fail). In the meantime, THQ will just keep delivering the same dependably great package.

Call of duty W@W:

War, as Fallout 3 so famously puts it, never changes. While the weapons and tactics may differ, it's still about chaos and fear and the overwhelming of the senses as adrenaline surges through your veins. That's a hard experience to capture on a screen, but the Call of Duty series comes close thanks to its constant redefinition of what "11" is in terms of intensity for first-person shooters. Last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare delivered an awesome and varied single-player experience that was matched with an even better multiplayer suite, and it made for some really big shoes for Call of Duty: World at War to fill.

If you've been living in Antarctica the past year and haven't heard, then yes, World at War returns back to the series' World War II roots. This has caused no end of grumbling from fans of Modern Warfare's contemporary setting, as well as the fact that this installment was done by Treyarch, a sister-studio to Call of Duty-creator Infinity Ward. Treyarch did the somewhat-maligned Call of Duty 3, but the studio looks to atone for that by delivering a game with an impressive amount of content. There's a solid single-player campaign, co-op play, a huge multiplayer suite, and even a fun, silly mode featuring zombies.

It certainly helps that World at War focuses on the less popularized theaters of World War II. Instead of serving up Normandy and D-Day for what would have been the umpteenth time for World War II shooters, the game covers the island hopping campaign in the Pacific as well as the Red Army's reversal of the tide at Stalingrad all the way to the Fall of Berlin. This provides some interesting new battlefields set on sun-bleached coral atolls in the Pacific. You will see some more familiar spots with the bombed-out cities and farmlands ofthe Eastern Front missions, but it's still well done.

War tends to be a savage affair, but the Pacific and the Eastern Front were especially so. In the game, Japanese soldiers swarm out of the brush, erupting out of spider holes to charge straight at you in an attempt to run you through with their bayonets. They'll play dead and wait for you to walk into the middle of a trap. Though set outdoors, it feels like close-quarters combat much of the time. Meanwhile, the Russian Front is full of merciless moments; there's plenty of gunning down of wounded and unarmed soldiers by both sides, and sometimes you're asked to pull the trigger yourself.

War is hell. Again.
This remains a Call of Duty game through and through. What that means is that the action is fast and fluid, as well as rigidly scripted. The success of the franchise proves that there's a vast audience for that, and this won't change anyone's mind. Enemy soldiers and your computer-controlled teammates respawn endlessly until you advance far enough to hit the triggers to make them stop reappearing. Then you advance to the next firefight and repeat the process over again. The thing is, you're far too busy shooting and ducking and dying to really notice much of the time. The sense of immersion is pretty complete.

There are plenty of deafening, large-scale set-piece battles, but there's also variation to change things up. Case in point is the PBY mission, where you man the guns on a Navy aircraft. At first glance, this seems to be a mirror to the Spectre Gunship mission in Modern Warfare; in both missions you rain fire down from above. But the Spectre Gunship mission has a cold detachment to it; those tiny blips on the screen that are human beings die from a foe that they cannot see and fight back against. In World at War's PBY mission, you're in the midst of a raging air and sea battle, taking damage and fighting for your life. Or there's a sniper mission to whack a German general that doesn't quite have the cat-and-mouse feeling of Modern Warfare's sniper level.

The campaign does suffer a bit due to its broad scope; the narrative skips over months at a time, showcasing the major battles of the war. The result is that the sense of story doesn't seem as strong as it did in Modern Warfare. It probably doesn't help that we all know how the war eventually turned out; Modern Warfare had the advantage of a fictionalized story with plenty of shocking twists and turns.

Gameplay


The Battlefield 4 beta brings to the table what we all expected, Battlefield 3 made even better. Battlefield 4 uses the updated graphics engine Frostbite 3. The Frostbite engine has always lead the field of graphics in my opinion, but other companies are getting a lot better through time. The game play on Battlefield 4 is very very good as it feels the same as Battlefield 3. Now Battlefield 3 was one of the best games ever made in my mind so anything to make that even better is just a dream come true. Now obviously the graphics in the Beta version are not the finished product as the download was just over 1 gigabyte for consoles and over 5 gigabyte for PC. You start with the options of 4 main kits, Assault, Engineer, Support & Recon. Each having one main starting gun. The levelling system in the beta is quite lengthy which is a great change as in Battlefield 3 I thought it was made to easy with the Medical Kits and Defibrillators from the start. These are now unlocks in the Assault kit. The Beta consists of 2 game modes, Domination and Conquest. Conquest open up the map more and includes vehicular warfare, from tanks to helicopters. Domination is more of a close quarter combat style game mode where instant respawns occur.

Only one map is playable in the Beta and is named Siege of Shanghai, this map includes various amounts of vehicles for the conquest mode and random weapon pick ups all over the map for the Domination mode. Also in Conquest, one of the main skyscrapers falls into the river below if blown up in the lower supporting pillars, which is a great addition into the beta which i didn't think would happen.

Synopsis
NCAA Football 13 offers the same experience as every other version, along with a number of new problems.

Gameplay
The AI defense is psychic and knows what play you audible to. If you start out with a run play, the safeties will come in to stop it. Audible to a pass play and they drop back to stop the pass. It's this kind of cheap difficulty that defines this game. Furthermore, turnovers are extremely prevalent to a point where it gets ridiculous. I've fumbled numerous times even when holding the "cradle the ball" button. AI Linebackers are still superhuman demigods who can sense where the ball is being passed without looking, leap 43 inches into the air, spin 180 degrees and make an interception. Conversely, Your offense's AI is abysmal in every aspect. Don't even try to run a screen pass, because your blockers will just run past the people they're supposed to block. Your offensive line can't pick up blitzes either. Often two or three linemen will be occupied by a single pass rusher, letting two or three have their way with your quarterback. Punt coverage is similarly broken. Receivers barely even make a play for the ball. They prefer to stand still and let the ball come to them. Couple this with the superhuman linebackers and that leads to lots of interceptions. The game isn't difficult though, it's easy to overcome these flaws even on harder difficulties. Players should not have to deal with these glaring flaws however.

Graphics
There have been some nice graphical tweaks, in that the motion looks much smoother and there is even a noticeable "blur effect" that has been added to the cut scenes. Also, there are studio breaks where it'll cut to other games... Which CAN be cool sometimes, but also very annoying, especially when you're in the middle of a 2-minute drill in the 4th quarter and you're out of timeouts and all of a sudden, "And we'll turn it over for a quick studio break." What the heck?!?

Controls
Another problem that I have is the 1st person mode button, in dynasty mode or exhibition games. When you press the left analog on defense, it will take you away from the normal view, flip the camera 360 degrees, and give you a 1st-person perspective (that is also used in other game modes). Now this might sound cool in theory, until you're extremely disoriented and you give up a 50-yard pass, all because you accidentally put too much pressure on your left analog button ('L3') and lost all reference as to where your player is and what's going on in the game. That may not make sense, but it will once it happens to you.

Ratings(Personal)
So that's my review. Aside from the 'y' button problem, I'd say it's the best NCAA Football release ever... So as long as you can overcome that flaw, then you'll be very satisfied with the game. I've just opted to run the ball more often and become a rushing powerhouse, as opposed to running the spread like I did with last year's rendition (NCAA Football 12).

Presentation
The game sets an overall mood of anxiety and desperation where it constantly gives you the feel of being lost in the town. Furthermore, the mood is set by the rain and the dark town, supporting that anxiety and desperation feel Rain gives off. The scenery is truly amazing, seamlessly transitioning from area to area wether it be the bridge to the sewers, or the town to the church. All in all, the scenery intensifies the mood and supports it throughout the course of the game.

Gameplay
The gameplay is complementary to the overall mood of the game. The gameplay switches from 3rd person view to a platformer often. Although The game has little to no glitches, sometimes when jumping on objects there are instances
where you do get stuck and this inevitably slows down the pace of the game. The silence in the game truly reveals the power of the rain and contributes to the story and gameplay as a whole. The game presents simple puzzles that often are easy to solve and become funner to solve when the boy and girl meet. However, the unnecessary hints that are involved do not give you a chance to figure out the puzzle for yourself and ruins the level of difficulty in the game. The fighting system also corresponds to the loneliness and helplessness that the two character's face, forcing the player to think of new ways to take down the creatures of the dark without getting too close. However the creativity level that the player has is rather low.

My favorite part in the game has to be the part with the bridge, where the boy and girl are running towards a distant lit up house they see. This part was a breath taking scene for me, as I love dark war like scenery.

Verdict
+ The game's presentation is near flawless where the player is truly engulfed in this dark and mysterious town
+ The gameplay supports the mood of the game and keeps true to its strong central core
+ The power of silence is wholesomely presented and the power of the rain is reinforced
- There are mechanical problems in the jumping system
- The hints ruin the somewhat seemingly difficult aspect of the game
- The limited creativity aspect takes away from Rain's world, where its full potential cannot be expressed by the player
+ The overall ending and message is indeed satisfactory and lives up to what Rain is all about

Synopsis
Shadow Warrior's fiery action reaches into the past, but its sense of progression is entirely modern.

Story

The plot of the game follows Lo Wang, a badass hired by Zilla Enterprise to locate the Nobitsura Kage, a mystical katana connected to ancients . The plot of the game feels simple in the beginning but later starts to become complex with each chapter . In the end of the day you'll be experiencing one of the best stories in FPS games in recent years .Throughout Wang is also aided by Hoji, a banished spirit . Dialogues and Voice acting in the game is great , some moments are serious while others are really funny . Campaign length is at least twice longer than what developers told us .

Gameplay

You can upgrade your character using "KI" and "Karma" points, there is a whole tree skill for each one and will make you for example heal faster, do more damage, slow time or get special moves for your katana, a very deep system here. This is one of the features that is pretty good. Same with weapons, you can upgrade them too with money that you collect in the game. There are many weapons but again the best one is the katana even more when you upgrade it, so for me it was kind of unbalanced in this aspect. The story is not very good but funny and the new Lo Wang says funny things just like in the original although it wasn't as catchy as the original or maybe again it's the nostalgia speaking, And no, the character doesn't say anything "bad" like in the first one, remember "Just like Pearl Harbour." or ""Just like Hiroshima." but the truth is that Shadow warrior wasnt great for that or showing girls taking a bath etc. it was good because it was a good shooter and fun and just like the original this is very good in that too and even funny in some parts.

Graphics and Sound

The graphics are good and the game it's well optimized (at least it was for me) The game is very gory as you can expect cutting the corpses of your enemies in a lot of pieces and exploding them, a lot of blood and guts everywhere. The sounds are good and music is ok, nothing outstanding but good and fits with the game.

Synopsis
WWE All Stars pumps up the action and the stars of professional wrestling, delivering an entertaining experience in spite of its limitations.

Gameplay

During my first 40 matches or so I had a lot of fun with this game, the fighting was fast-paced, the character designs had a lot of... well... character and the over-the-top super moves never failed to put a smile on my face. Not to mention smacking John Cena smug face into an air-juggle then catching him into a power bomb never getting old. But, in fact this deserves capital letters; BUT, after that point the lack of game modes started to annoy me. The greatest strength of WWE games has been the sheer number of matches you could throw your characters into. All Stars doesn't even have the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble has been in every game since Smackdown 2 and All Stars doesn't have it. At this point I then realized my other main gripe about this game. In the earlier rush I had taken pleasure in the brawl and really relished the final moment when I stood triumphant over my opponent after a hard-won battle.
Graphics
The graphics and animations are good. I like the cartoony type characters. It really adds to the wild slams you'll be pulling off. I would have liked to have seen the whole walk-ins of the wrestlers, but that's a small gripe. Unique celebrations would have been nice too. If you ever called yourself a Hulkamaniac or a Little Warrior, you need to play this game. If you lived by Austin 3:16 or wanted to "Lay the Smack Down", you need to play this game. The roster is good. There are a few I thought might have been left out, but I'll have plenty of fun playing with the ones that are here. (Would it have killed them to include Razor Ramon?)

Modes
These modes are bland. In the "Extreme Rules" mode, one would hope for weapons littered throughout the arena or even able to venture out into the backstage area, however this cannot be achieved. You are always confined to the ring area; no locker rooms, no boiler room and no parking lot brawls. To top it off it seems there are no tables or ladders available, only "striking" weapons. Sadly, the only difference being instead of the disqualification for repeated use of a weapon in a Normal match, you are not. Also, there is a trashcan of weapons outside of the ring. That's not very extreme. However, the Cage match does offer a bit of contrast to the normal game type with the player having to scale the cage and complete a mini game in order to win the match before the opponent can manage to knock the ascending player down. The Create-A-Wrestler mode really offers a lot in the way of visuals with in depth customization, allowing the placement of customized masks, face paint and tights. However, what the mode boosts in visual customization, it lacks in the more important, move selection. That is, forcing the player to choose a move set from one of the real WWE performers in the game, making your new homemade wrestler not so unfamiliar. While the easy to learn controls and shallow gameplay may be nice for casual gamers,THQ's game ends up falling a little short for the core gamer. Backstage areas, a bit more of a story and a few more game modes could have really brought this game to life, along with ladders and tables. "THQ... get the tables!(and ladders)"

This game is fun to play when you are bored but it can get very very boring after a while.That reason because not all sport game's you can sit and play for a long period of time.Although with this game having new game mode's Listed Below give you ton's of fun you can either play online or play offline Vs computer's you pick the game difficulty Easy,Medium,Hard.

Gameplay
This game is fun like how it said up top it does get boring after a while but all the new add on's they have make it 10x better then the older one's but it may not be fun for you.It all depends on what type of games you like to play.You can choose your fav team to play as or make you'r own team you can choose.

Graphic's
This game graphic's are good but can suck time to time.So with that said that hurt's the review for the game sometime's.The can doe's offer nice display of graphic's but at certain point's of the game For example""Skating the ice don't look real when it come's up of the ground"" ETC but it is better then any other Hockey game's that are made So far.It had a big jump from 13 but not that big of one

Online
Online is good but hard also.People like to use pre-made team's or made their own which can be hard when vsing them so with that said their are ALOT of try hard's on the game Including really good player's that don't try hard,Rage,Etc But you may find some time to time which can make it stressful.

Control's
It is basicly the same but their are some new and old control's in the game which can be hard if you are new to Nhl.But you get use to if after some practice "Practice makes prefect"But it could be better i hope next game they do that
