Yes you can get banned. I would recommend to disconnect from Xbox Live when you play the game, even if you play singleplayer!

Or you could take the risk of getting banned and go online.. But why? It's not worth it showing of to your friends that you have the game ;)

So many people get CoD early each year I've never heard of a ban for playing it pre-release. CoD seems to not apply to that rule, you'll be fine.

Im nit encouraging yoy, but i play every cod early and never heard of a ban. Cid copies are given to thousainds of people pre release eho r pros and live streaners, they just dint bother. Youre probably good man, but im waiting til saturday to be safe

Yes you will most probably get banned, I suggest you stay offline until a couple of days before the release date of the game.

Yes the chances of getting banned are high since the servers aren't on ! They turn them on tommorrow I'm sure you can wait 24hrs ! Plus what's the point you can't play with anyone

Infinity Ward did ban people for playing MW2 too early.. And if it didn't happen to you just yet, it doesn't mean you are safe...
